r.i.p grandma

This time I would like to take a break from the humerous side of me. I just lost my grandma Thursday and I've been going though a rough time. I know they all say that she's in a better place but it's still hard. It feels like just yesterday I was on my to her house so she could watch me while my parents were at work. For the past 3 months she has been suffering with Pancreatic Cancer. I think what makes it so hard is because I had to watch her suffer for those long 3 months. Today we had the wake and there were so many who came to support our family. Tomorrow is the barial and I feel like its going to hit me the most when I watch her get put into the ground. What really upsets me because I just lost my grandpa on the other side of the family 2 weeks ago. I guess it didn't hit me that hard because we didn't have a service for him but that was the way he wanted it. Also, on top of that my best friends mom just passed away this saturday as well. They always say it comes in 3, well its's true. I was torn apart to hear about her mom because that was her role model and she died so sudden. Im having a really hard time trying to cope with all the deaths, school, and work. But I guess if I keep my mind busy it wont be so hard. Thanks to all who have supported me and my family and help me make it though this rough time in my life.

Now I know your probabaly going to be wondering what is going on with this video. Well my friend, Sarah, showed me this one day and since then it has never gotten old. She told me that this guy Liam Lynch has recorded himself locked in a closet while he was tripping on acid. Now I will warn you, if you get offended easly DO NOT watch this video! Now I know that the fat guy dancing was funny but this tops it off for me. I guess I just have really stupid hummor to understand this video. If you much please watch it more than once, trust me its gets better every time! Now remember this guy is just by himself locked in a dark closet. But what makes this video better is the adimation the used for it. Well I do hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.

So this weekend was very eventful. My boyfriend and I decided that we wanted to have some fun this weekend. Well, when you start off a weekend by thinking that, it never ends good. We got invited to one of my boyfriends friend's party. I'm not going to say his name because he didn't want it getting out. Anyway, we showed up around 10 and everyone there was sitting on tail gates or sitting around the fire. Everything was going pretty good. We were making smores and drinking some beer. I decided not to drink that night because I was going to be the D.D. Well that turned out to be the best route for me that night. About 11:30 we saw headlights coming down the dirt road to where we were sitting. All of a sudden, a huge spot light was shinning on us like we were god or something. As soon as that light hit us, of course we knew what it was, the cops. And there was those three dumbass people who thought they could get away running. I started freaking out because I had never got into trouble by the cops before in my life. Well very long story short, I was the only one who didn't get a consumption ticket. Since I didn't get a ticket I didn't get to keep my straw, which I was pretty upset about! Anyway, the kid whose house we were at decided to be one of the dumbasses who ran, but he finally came out of hiding as soon as he knew the cops knew who's house it was. The most dramatic part of that night was the disrespect of the beer. It all had to be dumped out. I know that I didn't get a ticket or anything but it's still a fun story to tell. Another part in the story I left out was a old guy watched me pee behind a barn. GROSS!! And since cops always come in packs there was 6 county and city cops for an 8 person party!! yay, how fun right? But we dicided to go hit up another party right after we had the right to go! So just watch out for the popos on the loose!

There's really no words to describe this video. One day I had some people over to my house and when I came down the stairs all I heard was major laughing. I wasn't sure what they were doing on my computer, but I knew as soon as I looked at the screen. All I could see across my 22" flat screen computer was a huge fat guy dancing to the song "my humps"! I don't understand sometimes why stupid acts people do just make others die of laughter. I immediately started laughing so hard I had tears coming down my face. I looked into this video more and apparently it's very well known. Some T.V station mentioned it one night that it's one of the most popular videos of people singing and dancing to songs on youtube. I really hope that you get the same reaction I did when i watched this video! I could watch this video all day and never get tired of it. But I am the type of person that love watching really stupid things. If this offends anyone, my apologizes now. But like I said, I can never get enough.

True Blood

So as you may know I'm a girl, and most girls now a days are obsessed with the T.V. series "True Blood". I will admit that I'm addicted to any vampire movies or shows that are out there on the market. I would have to say though that my obsessed started with Twilight when I was 16. Now I just started watching True Blood this past week because one of my co-workers told me about how I would just fall in love with it. So my boyfriend's mom got me the first two seasons for an early christmas present. Now if you haven't even heard of this series, it plays on HBO on sunday nights and it's about vampires being able to be in puplic but they can only come out at night. Well anyway, she bought it for me last Thursday and in 5 days i have watched season one and two. Now if you don't know, that's 24 hours of watching this show! I know, I know thats rediculous right? WRONG, thats show is pretty much amazing if you ask me. The only problem I have with this show is how every last epesode of each season ends. I got so mad that I had to go to work and find out what happends in the third season. I almost cried when Bill, the main vampire in the series, gets kiddnapped after he asks Sookie, the main girl who's in love with him, asks her to marry him! Oh i flipped, but I found someone at work that filled me in on season three so I feel a lot better now. All i have to say, if you love Twilight or any type of vampire movie or show its in your best intrest to go check out True Blood. You'll  be hooked the first episode you watch.

Fun Nights at Dennys

I came across this video when I was looking threw my videos on my computer. Do you ever remember those nights when there was nothing better to do but to find something really stupid to do? Well this was one of those nights. If you didn't already know I work as a server at Denny's in Waterloo. It was during the winter of 09 that we got some pretty bad snow falls. My boyfriend, Taylor, my best friend, Sarah and i were finding something to do one night when it snowed really bad. We ended up at Denny's around 1 in the morning. Well if you have never been to this Denny's at 1 in the morning on a weekday you would know that we don't get a lot of business exspecaily when there's a couple of inches of snow on the ground! Also at this time of night, there are no managers to keep us out of trouble. (what a beautiful thing) Anyway, Kelly, the cook at the time, decided it would be a good idea to go sledding in the front yard of Denny's. Now as you watch this video you will notice a strange object that he is trying to sled down the hill on. That my friends would be a serving tray we use to serve our food on! (don't worry we washed it after all of this went down) Well as you can tell it didn't work out for him. He decided to find a big plastic bin would work better. As he said in the video "I need to put some pam on this", well he did! Now that's a whole nother video. But as you can tell if there's nothing else to do in a small town at 1 in the morning when its snowing, just go to Denny's! I will never forget how much fun we had that night.

A little bit about me

Hi everyone, my name is Monica Myrick. I am a former student at Southwestern Illinois College down at Red Bud. I am 20 years old and I am currently studying to be a Radiology. I am from Waterloo, born and raised and I am ready to get out of this town. I have been working for Denny's in Waterloo for the past 4 years. I really don't like that place. But who really likes the job they have though out college, right? Anyway, the things I like to do most is reading and hanging out with my current boyfriend till he(100) leaves for the National Guard. Also, I'm a huge movie freak. I have over 300 movies at the moment and it keeps growing. If you have any questions on a certain movie just let me know! At the moment I'm also working on planning my sister's wedding. I never knew how much work goes into one of those things! I've spent a lot of time and money into this wedding and it's not even for me. But you got to love your siblings right? Well to wrap things up about my life I'm a very outgoing kind of girl who just likes to have fun and meet new people. I'm one of those kinds of people you can really get along with. I hope this year goes good for me and good luck to everyone else.
